長池公園自然館 Nagaike Park Nature Center

Description
里山の風景に溶け込んだ木造建築が印象的な施設。
いま見られる植物の情報、里山の農機具が展示されています。
絵本や積み木で遊べるコーナーや、自然の素材をつかった工作ができるコーナーは幼児から楽しめます。(現在休止中。絵本のみ閲覧可。)
This wooden structure set against a pastoral background makes a strong impression on the visitor. There are also exhibits on current plant and animal life as well as insects, plus agricultural equipment of the region.
There is also an area where children can play with picture books and building blocks, or make things with natural materials.

売店では福祉作業所の方々が作られた焼き菓子を販売しています。
その他にも長池公園の植物や野鳥の書籍、野鳥バッジ、手ぬぐいなどオリジナルグッズが充実しています。
石のギャラリーではスタジオジブリから寄贈された「平成狸合戦ぽんぽこ」の背景画も不定期で展示しています。
This shop sells baked goods made by people at the community workshop. It also offers original goods such as books on plants and birds of Nagaike Park, wild bird badges, special Japanese hand towels, etc.
At the stone gallery, background pictures from the movie Pom Poko, gifted by Studio Ghibli, are also displayed at different times. The baked goods made at the community workshop are sold here as well.
