Birthplace of Tsukudani
【発祥年】江戸時代　幕府の命により摂津国西成郡佃村から来た漁師により築かれた佃島で、保存食として作られたことが始まりとされています。現在、佃には3軒の佃煮屋があり、歴史と伝統を伝えています。
【Birth Year】Edo Period
Tsukudani, boiled fish in soy sauce usually made to be preserved, was first made by fishermen from Tsukuda Village in Settsu (now Osaka) who settled in Edo by order of the central government. There are three tsukudani producers in Tsukuda who maintain the related traditions.
