7haの敷地には、国内外の樹木500種6000本の樹木が植えられ、桜の品種、都市近林、生物多様性などの研究が行われています。
Six thousand trees in 600 varieties from around Japan and overseas cover 7 hectares. Research is conducted here on varieties of cherry blossoms, urban forests, biodiversity, and more.
おすすめポイント
2月下旬から5月上旬には、500系統1800本の桜が順次開花してお花見が楽しめます。
Some 1500 cherry blossoms in 250 varieties bloom over the period of late February through early May, all at slightly different times.
