居留地に隣接する入船町に、日本で初めて靴の工場ができ国内で靴の製造が始まりました。西村勝三が伊勢勝造靴場を創建しました。
【Birth Year】1870
The Isekatsu Shoe Factory, established by Katsuzo Nishimura, was the first shoe factory in Japan. Located in Irifunecho, it was built adjacent to a residential area designated exclusively for foreigners.
